Description

Reopened after the super storm of 1993 which collapsed 2/3 of the roof under 8 ft. of snow drifts. It was rebuilt from the bricks up to look like the original replacing the 1884 iron with modern steel to meet Code. There is 4 acres of shale shingles on its roof and UV blocking windows. The interior is an acre in size and at the time the largest round building in the world. A must see for railroad fans visiting the Baltimore area. the web site is http://www.borail.org.
