Description

Now starting the steep ascent. The far view of the hill in my last posting is cheating in the view of height! It looks so easy to get up onto the top. But if you are standing right before, you will scatch your head! LOL Without training (like Aangus has) I needed many rests. In this minutes I discovered colorful moss beside the path. For me it looks like little wonders! ;o) If viewing scotish hills from the far I thought they are covered with grass. But I was wondering about the vegetation. You will find heather in all colors and everywhere; also fern, sometimes so high that it is reaching your hips. Hope you enjoy the colors and thanks for all valuable comments!

WOW, This colourful natural bouquet is so Beautiful, Rita!!! Here from the top of the "Mont Vial" (more than 850 m tall) in the "Vall de l'Esteron", the tree look like grass too, it's a splendour!!!! I wish i could lie down on this great blanket with you, my queen, and drink some champagne!!!!....V............kiss you....SG

What???? I've NEVER seen moss like this before!!! What colors!!!!!!! Ferns and heather up to your hips??!!! Wow!!! Scotland is a JUNGLE! Oh i bet you had a fabulous experience goin' up that mountain!!! squishy squish! i'd like to go!!! i think we need big walkin' sticks to help pull us up...help...my foot is stuck in the mud...i'm sinking!!!! What an incredible capture Rita!!!! My eyes are big at these colors! :)
