Description

This piece is very special to me, I've put everything I've got into it and have been working on it since October. I left it alone for a while then for those damn reasons it needed to be finished. This is my son Daniel and this piece is a christmas present for both my mum and for my mother in law. I started it on his 4th birthday (Oct 1st) and finished it today because I've been in a nice mood for the first time in ages. Wacom, Paintshop, Photoshop. No reference. This piece was done from scratch and it was a complete nightmare to get Daniel to sit still for the preliminary sketch as he wanted to use the computer to play a Dinosaur game. There was no way he'd let me brush his hair first either. Oh the joy of messy children and also hurrah for artistic liberties. Anyways, there you have it. God knows how much it's going to cost to get it printed full size. I'll probably sell myself for scientific experiments or something. Thank you for looking, I very much appreciate it.

Making this with no reference picture beside you is most amazing... And the result is so very fantastic that it lacks of words! Biggest VOTE!!!

Really amazing, especially since you started with a live model. (btw: a 'giclee' on canvas shouldn't cost more than about $150.00 24x30".)
