Description

Couldn't think of an image that I could create to go with this, but I like having SOMETHING so I cropped a pic I took and made it a kalidescope (sp?) and then cropped it again to snag the bits I liked best...
_____________________________________________________________________________
Politics of Hypocrisy
Walls of fear and hate of ignorance and intolerance supposed superiority attempting to create inferiority
Politics of hypocrisy two-faced representatives surrounded by spin-doctors greased palms and sticky fingers
Attempts to merge religion and politics disgust and disappoint because they do not belong together what such a marriage would create would be monstrous
Such a creation could only destroy on a blind mission of forced conformity feeding on the loss of humanity

Lina: good point!!! __ TP: I haven't been flamed yet so I think that's a good sign... eternalwytch1: believe you me, it's hard to make me STOP talking ;) __ sammygirl!!!! Thanks for the comment and for the relaxing evening we spent with you guys :) Tony: thanks jwdell: it really IS disturbing, I normally don't write about politics, but I just HAD to last night... netsia: thankfully (no offense) I'm Canadian BUT you hear a bit about some politicians here also speaking of their religious beliefs in concert with their political ones, even if it differs from their constituents. It's not nearly the level it is in the States and I don't ever want it to be so... you know what I mean?

No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency ...We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a Nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained.-George Washington

..'Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency'..no matter who was slaughtered when in the way? Your version of Nation is myopic and not shared by all in North America.

Very well written, it couldn't be better said that that. I agree with the point you are making. It is a difficult task to seperate ones philosophy from their business, but hey not all jobs are easy right? One can use their own moral structure to guide them to the best desicion, but Religion and Politics need to be seperate. I wonder how different things would be if Atheists or Agnostics were the major political leaders.

thanks nativebaby :) I did that kalidescope thing with Paint Shop 8 from a crop of a pic I took and then I cropped the new image because it reminded me of a roulette wheel and I thought it suited :):):)
