I also use Photoshop Elements, Painter IX and the Gimp - and the KPT Plugins.
I use a 14" G4 iBook, because my 12" Powerbook died. thank you for reading

Maybe, but look where they are going. They might meet under the surface and when they do there is some really powerful forces behind them waiting to be released. Wonderful work!

Where there is light, there is hope. . . and there is far more light than dark in this lovely and poignant image, Helen. Marvellous range of forms and colors, artfully arranged and contrasted. One senses mixed, confused and tentative emotions all acting concurrently. To me this does a superb job of conveying the ups and downs, highs and lows we experience in a relationship called romance - the elations as well as the disappointments. You say "tendrils of tenderness fall away instead of meeting". Perhaps - certainly what appears on the surface; but who knows what's going on behind that juncture? There is another way to look at this instead of simply left and right (or up and down). If you look at the bright left and right as one element and the darker top and bottom as the other element, taken together; then the juction seems to be a lightening of the dark and a darkening of the light; a mixing and becoming. Very evocative and wonderful art; thought provoking and beautiful!!! VOTE
