Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 (nope - still haven't updated the version - what a slacker! lol) I've had this one for a bit trying to figure out a fancy name for it but it keeps telling me its name is "Chip 'n Dale" because the orbs remind me of the colors of chipmunks. :?) Made using Toby Marshall's version of Mark Townsend's "Gnarl" formula called "GneoGnarl" in the "tma2.ufm" folder along with the "Thin Orbit Traps2" coloring algorithm in "tma.ucl" - a mod by Toby of the "Thin Orbit Traps" ucl by Samuel Monnier. Special thanks and gratitude to Janet Parke for much needed help in the final zoom/"framing" of this image - MUCH better than the zoom I started with! :?) Thanks for stopping by and for the wonderfully encouraging comments on my previous ones - sure keeps me going! Rick

I can't decide if the image is liquifying itself or molding itself out of liquid. It's gorgeous though and one that keeps a body glued to it!!

Excellent image, Rick! The details are in perfect focus. It's a sphere that's a little out of the norm, and I love that, too! Standing ovation!

Well, here i am at the end of the line again. LOL You said Chip 'n Dale, and I thought of Christmas. I couldn't figure out why, but then I realized that this image reminds me of the lovely little brass bells we put on the horses during the holiday season. It's such fun to jingle our way through the pasture on a visit to area Elders, bringing fresh baked goodies and big wide smiles. Underneath those little round spheres in your picture, I see a glimpse of Grnadma's quilt.... it may not have any red and green, but I still see Christmas.

The 3d aspect of those spheres is breathtaking. A fantastic creation with a beautiful restricted palette. Vintage Rykk!!

Not to cast a bad light on the final work, but if this were set up as a .png file it would make a great watermark. Its very complex, deep and would be impossible to remove also as a diffraction filter it would be great.

This is one of the few pieces where I like the sphere in it... rather than an accent, it is the image... lovely Rykk

This is stunning. Your work is superb. Its great that you've shared your methods too. Brilliant. Gnarl is a favourite formula for me and you've used it brilliantly.

Simply blows me away - Love the gnarl but the overall sheen, lighting make this a very special one.... I would say the best marble piece I've seen to date! Hats off to the Master!
