Description

::: Part 32 of a series of Warbird Photos ::: Taken at over Chino, California on Saturday, December 4th, 2004. Sorry guys for not being around much lately! Been quite the busy time for me and haven't posted in ages! I had another special privilidge of going up in a Cessna 210 and photographing the world's ONLY all original Japanese Zero that flies! This is a A6M5 Zero. Captured by the marines during World War 2, it was used by the USAAF for testing until it's released. It's one of the flagships at the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino, California. You probabyl saw her in the Disney movie Pearl Harbor (2001). She was one of three Zeros to take flight over Oahu once again, but only this Zero was an original Zero (the others were replicas). It was amazing to see this beautiful bird on our tail and right next to us. There will be many many many more air-to-air sessions from me as I'm not a published Aviation photographer (magazine cover too!). Camera is a Canon Rebel EOS 300D DSLR (6mp) with a Canon 18-55mm lens. Image was reduced in size.
