Description

You see the Rocca Guaita fortress at the Monte Titano in San Marino. The Rocca which is properly called Guaita or the First Tower, dates back to the XI century. It was used as a guard tower. Some of the rooms were used as a prison. San Marino, is one of the smallest nations in the world. Located in southern Europe, it is completely surrounded by Italy and has a population of less than 29,000. The highest point in the country, Monte Titano, is situated at 749 m above sea level. Beautiful compo here, the path leading up to this fort gives it great feel of depth and makes you wanna take a walk up there! :o)

it's like it's calling you to explore it's interior! :] the sky really doesn't bother me... makes it look high in the clouds
