Description
A friend and I were discussing architecture over dinner and we talked about Cloisters and the feeling they convey. I mentioned how good Byrce 5 is at architecture and she challenged me to create an image. This is what I came up with. I used lighting FX from my tutorial "Bryce Lighting FX" at http://www.clydesight.com/brlitefx/ and also used some haze atmospheric effects to give the impression of a misty rain, and added reflection on the stone floor to give the impression of it being wet.
I took the image into Photoshop and using layers, added rain drops with the paintbrush and then faded the raindrop layer to try and give the rain effect. The "interior" seen through the large stain glass window is actually a 2-D plane of a previous Bryce image I have done- the "What's the Story Here."

Nice work clyde. I tried to do a cloister scene once, but it was nowhere near this render.
