Description

Thanks so much for your great feedback on the previous version. After seeing that I could see that what was bothering me was that the TIA wasn't attached to the landscape. In this version I attached it with a shadow. I also sharpened this one much more. Please compare the two. Thanks again.

Ah, yes, makes a lot of difference now that it ties in to the ground. Very nice, Keith!

This one is improved, and I didn't think that was possible! I love the clouds blowing across the face of the moon!

I feel like "the Lady and the Tiger":) Which to choose?? I like the shadows here very much, but somehow I miss the lighter background (reminded me of mountains and valleys in the distance) of version #1. I have no idea if this is possible, but if you could lighten up the left margin above the green grass just a bit it would show better. I always say that this could simply be a difference in monitor settings, and that may be the case here, too. In any event, it's fantabulous. Thank you for letting us compare!!!

The first one was beautiful already, but I must admit I like this one better. The shades on the ground work for me.

Now the trees are no longer attached to some kind of curtain in the foreground! The depth is now also with the trees...

I agree completely with Panny...this one seems enough darker that the trees don't POP as much, also the new leaves or flowers on the trees are darker here. However...having said that, I like the way you grounded the image with shadows better, and I like the sun and the color at the top of the sky better here. Hope that helps :) (still one of the prettiest TIA images I have ever seen)

This is beautiful, but I like the first one better. The large tree here seems to overwhelm or dwarf everything else..and somehow, the image has lost some of its magical quality. I do like the extension of the ground plane. Still beautiful and certainly excellent.

I like this one better. It looks better with the shadow, and it defines the surface. Love it.

Just splendid work, as always :)!! I do like this one better, much more depth and it comes together better. I agree with Linda about the large one in the back. Looks like it's reaching into the front and distracts a bit. Maybe if it was thinnner/darker?? Fantastic blend into the horizon, I can see all kinds of detail far off!!

This one has much more definition and detail - great job. I still think the sun is too close to the middle, but I don't think that is a bother for anyone else. Must be just me. ;)
