Description
Once again I posting in the Terragen gallery because most of my basic surfaces were derived from there. After seeing the images created by the Alpha testers for Terragen 2, I just couldn't resist :]. All of the foreground was done in Lightwave 7.5 using XFrog 3.5 for the creation of the plants and HDInstance to distribute the plants over the surface. I hope you enjoy the image.

Lovely image and the terragen part (mountains?) is done quite well. Cheers.

You put alot of work into this! I really really like the tall dry grasses and fallen leaves, they fit perfectly! Very nice tree to!
nabit
Stbc, Thanks! Everything under the grass, bushes, leaves is also directly from Terragen as well. Buzzzzz, It was one of those projects done in between other projects 8].
rosanne

Superb post work...you'll find many in the TG community don't comment on images with a lot of post work...but, TG needs some help sometimes and this time...well...you did excellent work!!! Please keep it up...maybe try 75% terragen and 25% post work...just to please the hardcore TG folks :) Excellent work!!!

Words aren't good enough Gary. Excellent in every way.

Markal, I know I'm a disappointment to Terragen purest, but forgive me. (hehe) There are so many outstanding Terragen artists, I'll just have to follow my different approach. Blehman, and rosanne, I'm humbled.

Congratulations! The post-work is fantastic so that this is a very beautiful and excellent image, which at the same time shows the limits of the other programs than Terragen. Yes, the Terragen part of the picture is perfectly photo-realistic but the non-Terragen part of it looks like a realistic oil painting of the twentieth century. In any case, this is a very interesting work. Thanks for showing it. Cheers!
nabit
Sgroggle, thank you for taking the time to look. Feedback is always useful and yours has been kind.

Exc postwork! IMHO may be the green texturing of TG parts is in a strange "high slope" position
nabit
Dotthy... Coming from you I'm humbled. 1pearl... Thanks for your comments! superza... Yep, I loved the .srf file so I did a very large orthographic render and applied a portion of it to the LW surface. You've got keen observation!
