Description

Heading off to bed myself in a moment, now that I feel able to sleep... and, ahppily, Torin appears to be sleeping soundly. I didn't want to risk taking a picture (though he's friggin adorable) so, I'm using one I took in July when Torin was sleeping in my Mom's arms and I took a close-up because it was a few days before his first haircut and I wanted to immortalize those curls (which are back, just not as long)

eyelids closed face in repose - so sweet my little man is fast asleep
rosebud mouth and rosy cheeks tousled curls silence a treat
a quiet sigh and then a snore dreaming things not dreamt before
Child of mine my pride, my joy sleep well, dream well my precious boy

A moving written piece that your young son will, hopefully, be able to read himself. Such a blessing he is Miss Cara Mae. And sir Torin is equally as blessed to have someone like you as his mother. Hug him and love him so. Sons always protect their 'moms' when they grow up. VOTE

Such a sweetie! When my son was born, the song "You Are My Shining Star" was the hit and it has been 'our song' in my heart. There's nothing like a little boy to win a mommy's heart and soul. Perhaps it's because we want to protect the only time in their life as a 'man' that is innocent and full of vulnerability. Loved my daughter just as much, but now she has a boy and a girl and knows what I'm talking about. Enjoy, the grow too fast. My son is now 24 but just as loving and close to me, even though he's married to a wonderful woman! Savor those precious moments (and keep those clipped curls for memory books!LOL)

I've only got Torin and no other little ones in my future... but he's just a really special child. Everyone loves him and he's quite the charmer when he wants to be... He's my little cuddleboy :)
