Iterations>PSP7 bilinear resample and text Thank you for the hits and comments on Macaroni Towers! This was a surprise find while I was working in Iterations the other day...very late 70s/ early 80s, I thought... so bring out your skinny ties, white shirts and Nu Nile hair pomade, sharkskin pant and pointy shoes.(dreadful) Turn up the Blondie! Thanks again and have a nice Sunday! Chris

Great image, Chris! Love the vibrations and the way it messes with the focus of your eyes! I had one almost like this in high school, except it was real small. I took an old analog watch and attached it to the second hand! A quick "trip" whenever you looked at the time. ( a real mind blower for your too stoned friends when they wanted to know the time!)

Wild design, Chris - reminds me of some of those hypnotic TV test patterns from when I was a kid (back when they had about as much dead time as they had live). Those ripple disturbances are an excellent touch and applied with superb subtlety; they add greatly to the appearance of depth in the image. As I gaze at your work, a completely different memory comes to mind: the sensation I had for the first time standing on a diving board over a pool looking down into the water and wondering " How in **** did I get here?". Superb B&W dynamic art (motion without animation)! VOTE

I think we could take it back even further, to the tie-dye, lava light, and hookah days!

What a beautiful "Classic" look this one has! The appearance of a glassy swirl really adds to the magnificant effect created here. V! (=
