This is very much an experiment in rendering at different densities and layering them to fill in details...still working it out. Three layers 1500, 2000, 3000 densities and still could use more detail. Perhaps it's just the gradient needs shifting. Well anyway, cozy up to your screen, drink some coco and feel the love.

While I've never experienced a yule log that looks quite like this, who's to say? I do see a beautifully detailed and magnificently colored abstract that resembles what I would call a vibrant knitted article of clothing and an excellently rendered artwork!

Wow! Incredible debth created! Luscious colors! I am working on a blanket, crotched, and utilizing a stitch from 1917, pineapple stitch....you found it perfectly! I really wish I had a pair of those 3D glasses thingys, this work seems as if you could go in and swim around a bit! (=
