I'm a graphic designer from Finland who teaches using computers in designing, and whose favourite areas are vector graphics and typography and painting as well digitally as with traditional methods. - All said in one sentence...
I read a lot, I smoke a lot --- I'm not anymore young, beautiful and slim;-)BIOI graduated at Helsinki University some 20 years ago as M.A. - main subjects philosophy, aesthetics and Finnish language and Finnish literature. As a philosopher;-) I couldn't have a permanent job... I have been a teacher in many places; teaching both children and adults.
I am a self-made graphic designer and computer aided designing teacher. My very best interest lies - besides the pictures - on typography, in theory and in practise. I work as a free lancer.
I have the home page of my own - but unfortunately they are all in Finnish. But the adress is not a secret: www.valt.helsinki.fi/blogs/titta
All my studying materials are there - I teach quite a lot at Helsinki University.
Personal life: I live with my big black dog, Kirppu (in English "a flea") in Helsinki.

You already know what I think too but I can never tell you enough times how moved & deeply touched I am by your poem hugs or how much you have inspired me with all that you've done with it, I love all your typography experiments too much to even try to pick a favourite! Wonderful work ; )

Thank you, Bev and Pascale! I forgot to mention the fonts I've used here: The poem is typed with ITCFenice, the script font is Porcelain from misprintypes, and the third one, with capitals is FuturaCondensed.

Amazing Work Of Art!!Much Talent HereSynapse
Titta that poem is incredible. To me it really forces us to contemplate just how divorced from reality we are, so wrapped up in the routines of our lives to truly taste the full experience of what it is to be alive. I can see why Bev is so proud to have inspired this sensitive work. Fascinating experiments in typography here, with a visual depth reflecting the depth of the subject. Actually if I think about it this could become a Theme in itself, to take your poem and interpret it in our personal ways! I'd be up for that! HUGS :-D

Summoned by her plaintive calls - The blue-black raven willingly falls - Into the charms of Titta - Whereupon in echoing halls - They sing the Bhagavad Gita -- Forgive me, but I found your poem so inspirational and so beautifully illustrated, I couldnt help myself.

when i see a picture in which text and image are a unity i am lost! few people use the possibilities, you did, in a wonderful way.

I had to comment on this one too. As a lover of Ravens I love this image and the words. As a graphic designer I have to say the typography and composition is awesome! A lot of people really don't know how to effectively use type as a design element, but you nailed it!
