It saddens me to see that obviously nice and wonderful people have been so taken in by this vile administration. This war is an act of Imperialism at its worst. You were lied to about the reasons for going to war. You are being lied to about the reasons for continuing the war. And while Halliburton and the Military-Industrial Complex, that President Eisenhower had the foresight to fear, are stealing your hard-earned money, you continue to believe that we are doing the right thing. Where is the Guardian Angel for all the thousands of innocent Iraqis who have been slaughtered in the name of Democracy. Where the Guardian Angel for the people whose homes and lives have been totally destroyed so that we can continue to waste fossil fuel at an astounding rate and pollute the only planet we have to live in with utter disregard for the future? Before the responses to this get too vitriolic, let me temper them by letting you know that I am a VietNam Vet who was six blocks away from the Twin Towers on 11 Sep 01. I saw the second plane hit and saw the first tower fall. Yes, with these two eyes, not on some TV screen. I have been there, so when I voice these opinions, it is not from some pie in the sky idealism, it is from what I truly believe. America is being stolen from you at an astounding rate and most people are blind to that fact. And jingoistic artwork and little yellow ribbons do not do anything to slow that theft in the least. this is really beautiful!!!!! i dont want to said much but the thing that got me is to see bush in the white house celebratin christmas, spending alot of money on stupid thing while he should be thinking how to make our boys save in iraq. i dont respect a man who run away from his dutys and now want our young man and woman to go and fight. i was in VietNam i know what is like to go out and not knowing if you are going to return to camp, i would like to see bush dauthers for once taking food to our soldiers, is easy to send someone else sons and dauthers to a war, not protect out country but to fight for bush ego. well i have never said anything before like this but it hurt me seeieng our young man and woman being kill for country that dont want us there. anyway this is the best image i have sseing here in a long time, god bless you for your image ill make a poster and put it on my wall, as i look at this image tears are coming out of my eyes. macrey
