Description

This is a commisioned book cover, Dragon Master 6 (although the actual title of the book is in Chinese on their website...) This one took a very long time. Much thanks to the people at MESS [http://www.messstudio.com/bb/]and EatPoo [http://www.eatpoo.com/] for their support and C&C's, every step of the way. I couldn't have done it without you guys! ^^ This is about 50% Painter and 50% PS, the most I've used Painter on an image lately. This is quite remarkable. Thank you so much for sharing the progress images as well, no one can doubt the great time and patience you put into this and thankfully no one can shout "photomanip!" as it's plain to see that this was created from scratch with all the hard work that goes with it. Superb... btw did you mean to file this under 3DS Max? It's 2D surely :-)

looking good. but to me as a non computer art professional some parts seem to be done with different intensity. for example the diff between the fave and the dress is like sky and ground. but thats just my opinion. nontheless aweseom detail and great shades and proportions.
