Stunning work and the way you described your daily walk with the dogs as a kid was so detailed that I could feel the atmosphere you must have felt! Your work fits that feeling perfectly. Beautiful!

Quite similar to my "Root Power" image, but this is a progression :-), great colors, great depth, I like the the little "ants".

I wished I had the talent you have to express so eloquent, what you see and feel. Your daily walks with your dogs was maybe the greatest thing you ever did, it must have helped to develop your sense of beauty.. This image is awesome.

FANTASTIC, Rik. I'm thinking you could be a writer. If you haven't already, you should look into that idea. Great Job. V BRAVO

Absolutely STUNNING! Great detail & depth. The way you express yourself with words is just as wonderful. Thank you for sharing this...

terrific detail and does look like a frozen ice covered tree, but has some kind of black moss on it!!!!!!!

Awesome!! Top notch creativity and skills. But then, it also comes with an excellent and so descriptive piece of writing...come on!!...leave something for us poor souls.

Makes me wonder what the dogs would look like in a forest like this. Great perspective and texture - Happy Holidays!

Love this perspective. I have always loved the woods and believed them to be magical. This gives me the impression of lying on the ground and looking up at the trees. The color definately makes me cold. I love the textures too. Excellent Image.

it gives me the feeling i got while walking in sequoia park. overwhelming beautiful.

Rik thank you for sharing a small part of your childhood in such a beautiful way ,it made me see the image with different eyes .Without reading your introduction I
d have seen a beautiful fractal .....point .Now I see the forest ,the small kid with his dogs out alone on a cold winters night ,and this made me recall my own childhood in Holland the cold winters and relived it when I took my dog out on our evening stroll I even imagined hearing the snow creaking under my feet ,and this in Tel Aviv where it never snows .That
s how your words affected me . Thank you .fractalinda
Fantastic design and perpsective, and the colors and texture are awesome! I've decided you should illustrate children's books, Rik! Wonderful story, too..and your talents are more than "meager."

Beautiful, icy fantasy of the woods. Your story is enchanting. I can see the litle boy and his dogs in the crisp snow and dark trees. LOL

Beautiful and expressive work, I understand the feelings perfectly. Very impressive work, the towering trees rising in the moonlit sky are overpowering, brittle with cold and fraught with imagined danger.

Wow what an impresive image ! It is awsome in colors, composition and textures ! And the picture fits the story so well ! VOTE

Gorgeous image, love the colours and textures!
Megandoc
Mmmmm! Gorgeous, Rik. Those of us who walk dogs have the time to stand and stare (while the dogs do doggy things) and see the beauty all around, especially in the details. (Sounds a bit corny but...)
avalonfaayre
Sparkling crystalline ice forms on the trees! Lovely Winter Woods! Soft pine needles that make no noise when you step on them, the dried weeds and brambles..you have captured all of them well, and the atmosphere is perfect. Thanks for the memories.
Cosine
Great frosty image, Rik. I love the little spirals almost hiding on the silver arms. Your comment stirred some nice memories, too. Thank you for both.
Dinhi
Wonderful image, rich with memories and a fantastic textile clarity. I can feel the chill from the magificant color combinations chosen, apply a very unique texture and Rik, you have created yet another masterpiece! (=
