Just fabulous!! The reflection reminds me of fall at my brother's. He lives in a log cabin on a lake and it is so peaceful there. Don't you just hate intrusions of reality!! ~V~

Sounds like it was a nice childhood experience... I saw glowworms for the first time last year, when i visited the north island of New Zealand.. so i can relate... was quite a magical sight... Congrats on a nice render and thanks for sharing the story :)

Magical work Rik!...I rented a cabin on a lake for a few years as an escape from NYC and it was so wonderful! I felt like a kid as I rediscovered NATURE...loved every minute of it.

Lovely combination of fairylike image and story. I only ever saw fire flies on holiday in Luxemburg, years and years ago. At dusk the lights came out of the woods on to the camping site. Just like fairies, yes. Magical, Rik. Thanks.

Rik ,judging from the above comments ,your magical childhood story has most of us going down memory lane .I`ve never seen a firefly ,but fairies I see everywhere . Your story made the image come alive. In the right bottom corner of the image that must be you and your grandparents watching the lake and the fireflies .This was a enjoyable experience

this is lovely - the softness of the circles of light do give the impression of lights on lights off like fireflies (or lightning bugs) as they traverse the night - the flood effect makes this a summery image, and yes i think i am looking through a screen - thanks
