Description

I've been playing more with the coloring algorithms in ultrafractal--this is from ldm.ucl (Doodads). I have spent literally hours just tweaking each function and setting in this algorithm & have come up with some wild things. Originally this pic was a nice spiral, but I realized I liked the individual segments more than the overall spiral, so went zooming in... Reminds me a bit of those macro photos of flowers & such. :) Anyway, I'm a bit excited, I love making fractals--don't mind me, the crazy woman here!! LOL Hope you enjoy it too & thanks for looking! :)

This is awesome! I love the colors! I used to get all excited when I had a good fractal too, but I've stepped away from that for now. I'm sure I'll get back into it soon. Beautiful job!

Very nice work, Donna; your image does convey the sense of macrophotography of a flower, or perhaps a butterfly. The main color choices are very cool and eye-pleasing and there is a nice variety of forms and shapes. IMHO the white is rather overwhelming; your image could use more contrast to enhance its beauty and definition.

You have a right to be excited! This floral is a beauty! I really like the way you have expanded the focus away from the center of the spiral. It makes for a very nice image!
