Description

Ohh boy... High School sure is keeping me busy! I'm sorry that I can't spend more time in here :( Anyway, holiday is closing in, which has given me a short break concerning homework, and therefore given me the time to finally begin a new render. I've noticed how my ideas and visions, concerning images, have changed during the last few months, and I've really begun to feel that my renders need some characters and a story to tell. Unfortunately, I don't have Poser, but perhaps it's time I acquired a copy? Wabe was so kind to help me out with a model, but I just couldn't make it look right, so instead I used a photo of myself taken in my kitchen. Sorry Walther. I hope you dont mind :) The scene is heavily inspired by FarCry, in case some of you know it. Tropical paradise, villains, hiding, you name it... I hope you like it. I had to be kickstarted in Vue again, but it was great getting back to rendering. Thomas

Excellent POV. Great lighting and composition. Well your photo looks like a real character in the scene. Am I seeing things or there's some paintings in the cave? Excellent and vote. Oh boy! How I wish I was in High school. 8-)

Good to see you back in action. No matter what you do there is no mistaking it with what I call the "ThomasKrahn effect"...

Maybe you should think about Low School? When you sent me the image originally i already thought 2nothing wrong here". So i think it is a good idea to stay with the photo instead of an artificial Poser creature. Well done Thomas.

I understand perfectly what you mean by saying your scenes need some characters. I feel the same way too and have the same problem with Poser. :) I think you solved the problem in a quite original way. Excellent work.

That is incredible I am presently playing Far Cry! (starting level 13 'the cooler' in challenging mode.. hard..lol think I'd better run and find a better hiding place than the broken elevator..) You made a beautiful screenshot of the game :)) Excellent!
