A man was made of special clay As entertainment for the day Then this creature was not glad Bare existence made it sad Then the creator taught it joy With a girl that made a boy This godlike pleasure was so strong That number grew and deeds turned wrong Men killed men and nature died Women held their heads and cried “Come down and eat...” they said to god “the bloody meat that served your fraud!” Then there was silence in the air United with a whispered prayer A child survived the human kind In fear reciting mother’s mind Words of faith and hope for life Not meant for any god alive Since every human died in war The deeds of god should be no more Now the child is freed from pleasure Freed from that old evil measure It does not need one of its race To reproduce in older days This is the child of human kind Without sex but reason in mind
