Description

And here we are! Some of Anthonys famous munros, Coire na Tulaich (902 m, on the right) and Stob Dearg (1022 m on the left), from where you can look over the Etive Mor. Maybe you can see the path leading through the field, passing the house over there and straight to the notch between both hills. Looking now at the pic I also would think: What a short and easy hike up there! But standing right in front and looking up you would know that it would be very difficult and extremly steep. But the one thing I was scared about was: the last part I would have to scramble and climb up the bare rocks! And that was a problem for me since my horror trip! LOL So I decided to hike up... but left around the taller mountain, where I found a very small, almost unvisible path leading through the heather. Anthony, some minutes I was angry with you, LOL, because I didn't know that you are a climber! For me to dangerous! ;o) But I would like to know, who also would be scared like me? be honest!? ;o)))

Another wonderful photo! It certainly looks like an invigorating hike..I expect I might be a little scared too. I climbed up a very steep Mayan pyramid in the Yuccatan so I know the feeling! :) Great photo.

The colors of the pictures you uploaded the last few days are very special. I think it is the combination of the yellows and the blueish mountains. Although I like the mountains, I am scared of walking on steep and narrow paths in the mountains. So, maybe I would not be able to do what you already did.

Agree that the combination of diffrent colors in these hills are what makes them so special, a most spectaculer image and no I do not think I would want to go up there, looks very forbidding from just the foto. I see the house scale with the hill, and it gives a look of what the size is really like. Eccellent and vote. Lina

I would love to live in that isolated house..as long as I had my puter and my sweetie! The sense of scale is awesome, and I get chills just viewing the magnificent mountain. Great natural lighting in your photos. Excellent work, Rita!

This picture is pure poetry. This kind of landscapes has something close to the "faery tales" and the way you have captured them is perfect to show this.
