Description

Same place as Grimselsee 10, but now about four hours later. It's exactly the same location but with the moving sun this part of the day the light makes it appear different. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 50 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Wow! look at the difference a little light can make!!!!!! 4 hours later and everything is bathed in a gorgeous blue hue!! sigh gonna just sit here on the bank and admire the view, and, of course, watch those close drift! You did a terrific job on both of these, Jan-Carel! vote!

Sun angle can transform water from mud to gorgeous blue colors. Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the excellent demonstration that "timing is everything."

Very nice example of how the position of the sun can effect the lighting of the exact same photographed area. I think the second one does it for me even more than the first. Nicely done Jan!

Isn't it interesting that the same scene can look so different due to the amount of sunlight. Each photo can stand alone on its beauty, but by posting them together you allow the viewer to observe the contrast. Thank you Jan-Carel,you do such beautiful work. V

It is something to think about when capturing a shot, is the sun in the right position? It make all the difference. Interesting shot! Aloha

A lovely viewpoint, and a gorgeous location, but I like part 2 better (I love blue). Both photos are beautifully composed and lovely long depth of field. Exquisite =)

I love this kind of comparison, Jan-Carel. We all pass the same places, day after day, and yet find something new to see. Whether our observation skills improve, or the lighting is changed, or whatever. The little changes, as well as the big changes, help to add spice or interest to our lives. Thanks for reminding us all of that. Regards, John.
