Description

Combination of 2 images. The Grotto is a single render ! Terrains: El Mocambo (cave) and Shannon (back). For those who asked how I did it: there's a small tutorial at http://haunter.student.utwente.nl/terrarevolution/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7297#7297 Enjoy and comment !

Very nice job with the grotto. I like what you were going for with the two images but I think the back one is tilted too much in relation to the front. Still a very nice idea though, good work!

Excellent effect, while the bluring of the frontier between the two part give a strange aspect.

Agree a pretty cool render. Tilt adds much intrest to the render. The cave terrain looks perfect for the image. =)

TCC, you get my vote at once. Both of them pieces are superb, and the water in the grotto is worth that vote alone. Just one thing puzzles me: the tilting of the outside is unnatural if compared to the water surface. Doesn't really matter, I do like the image by heart. Let's call it "artistic licence"! v

Postwork is not perfect, as Christian said, but still a beautiful and original work, with a singular mood

Wow! Excellent Idea! BTW Take a look to the water; it seems to flow out of the grotto! Do you think to take the water level quite to the edge of the grotto just to permit the water to go out of grotto to the left? should be amazing!

Excellent Terragen gymnastics far outweigh horizon/water level disparity flaw.
