Description
You walked in and I couldn't keep my eyes off you.
You demanded attention from the world
And radiated perfection.
It was you I desired most.
The night spent in the parking lot
Was most memerable to me.
You held me so tight to you
And kissed me so gently.
I remember the day I told you I'd wait for you.
I said it from the heart
And meant every word.
You only looked blanky back.
Days later you dropped of the face of the earth.
No phone calls,
No surprise visits,
Not even a hello.
With one phone call my whole world was crushed.
She told me all about it.
You used me to get to her.
I slammed down the phone and let the tears flow.
I hate you for playing me like a fool.
I hate you for kissing me and holding me so close.
I hate you for promising me things you could never deliver.
I hate you for wanting her.
This is my first upload, so i found something from two years ago to put up. Leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Hmmm... hate is a very strong emotion, yet we find it where we least desire it. I read once that hate springs from love, and without the first, the second could not exist. I like this, it makes me a little sad though, maybe that was the point...;) Great work. Can't wait for more recent work!

Hate and love do follow each other, they wander hand in hand. A very passionate and emotional rhyme, that ends with such frustration, that rings through that word hate. Hate is such a strong and powerful word; it is short and to the point, but can be delivered with such a ferocious blow upon the recipient. Very interesting piece, thank you for your posting.

Life is about balance, and unfortuantly that includes love and hate aswell. There is nothing more confusing than the two of them, especially when one poses as the other.
