Another post from the upcoming Gutshot Core Rule Book. This is a spot illustration that will appear in the book. As always, the illo will print in b&w, but this time I allowed some of the original P5 render to show through so it would look a little better online. A note about the character names: This is Michael 1 with a character morph by Steve Shanks at PoserWorld. His cowboy pack has four face options, and one of them is named Buddy. This face is mostly the Buddy Morph (has a little Robert Mitchum thrown in, but not much). I have about 10 characters so far, so I'm finding it easier to keep track of the artwork by using the character name, rather than an illustration name. Hence, rather dull image names. Technical: P5 render in draft mode (high quality isn't needed because the textures mostly get lost in the b&w conversion, anyway). Filters applied in P7: Sketch/Stamp and Flaming Pear/India Ink. Back to the grindstone! The book will be released in less than six weeks, and it's due at the printers on Jan. 3! Wish me luck!
