I had a WONDEFUL Christmas and hope the same is true for everybody here at Renderosity. Best wishes and season's greetings from everyone down home in Texas! -------------------- I took this photo of an ornament hanging on the tree at my brother-in-law's house (we were sitting around after grilling steaks for dinner). I liked the way it looked, so I took a few photos with the Macro View on so I could get about six inches from the ornament. The flash was overpowering the tree lights and making a bright glare on the ornament. I tried it without the flash but it was too dark, so I grabbed a white Christmas card envelope and used the thin white paper and held it tight over the flash to diffuse the light. It worked perfectly. I got the shot with enough light to see things, but not so much that it washed out the details. I did a little post work in PS7 to adjust the colors and add more blur/glow to the lights. I did it in less than an hour while talking to my mom and brother on the phone.
