Description

Reflecting on the time of year... I was raised Christian so we do celebrate Christmas with friends and family. I don't go in for the biblical aspect of it all (no churches, no Jesus... that's not what I believe in) but I do enjoy an extra opportunity to let my loved ones know how much they mean to me. The image I am going to use is of my son, because children are our gift to the world & are the Universe's gift to us with their purity, innocence & love. (All I did was take this one and crop it, no other effects, not even "one-step-photo-fix")

Tis the Season
The greetings of the Season to one, to all trying to avoid the insanity of the over-crowded mall No matter your beliefs or your religion December's often packed with Christmas visions Of Santa, of Jesus of presents and toys enticing the masses especially young girls and boys Some also remember the less fortunate donating time, money, food or gifts They are the true Santas double-checking their lists This time is about the ones you love letting them know how you care in the way you are able and for many Christians, it's about the Son of God born Christmas Day, in a stable For some, it's about commercialization and money all the bang for your buck you can get To me, the spirit of the season is simply about Love something we should never forget

No matter what your beliefs are, I wish upon you all Peace and Love...

Very nicely put. Especially the part about children being such a gift to us. Have a Merry Christmas Cara-Mae (and everyone else)! It's Christmas morning here and we are waiting for family to arrive so we can do gift unwrapping. I'm impressed that my son was able to hold himself back and just open one present!
