Description
Just at home for a bit before attending our 3rd holiday celebration since yesterday - so I'm cheating and posting one of my older poems...
And the pic is one I took in October (i think)
Deep Forest
The tribal beat
the mesmerizing rhythms
stirs my blood
in such a way I cannot explain
it must be seen
swaying and bending
like a tree in the wind
never breaking
withstanding all odds
to survive
to climb
to reach for the sky
pan pipes playing
enchanting melodies
wrapping me inside the music
never wanting to be free
