Description

Long day, very tired, posting another older poem of mine that you haven't seen before... pic is a self-portrait of my lips making a cheesy kissyface that I used an effect on (though I'm so sleepy I forget which one)

First Kiss
A word from the unloved one lost to the world its whisper missed in the focus of tears distracted Fairy-tale ideals the bittersweet apple no "Prince Charming" to save the princess with true love's first kiss Withered drained the unloved one smiles paintedly from the face of the mask she cowers behind beneath its shield she weeps always longing wishing praying for true love's kiss But she's losing her belief childhood dreams of delicate crystal shatter beneath the footsteps of society Reality slices through her soul more dangerous than any knife Last word of the unloved one lost to the world its whisper missed her soul has died awaiting true love's kiss
