Very nice,like the composition and POV. My work personna (Plant Manager) wants to get someone out there with a wire brush folloed w/ a can of paint and a paintbrush. If it is a "working" bridge you should contact your local state highway dept or Dept of Transportation! I wouldn't want to drive over it.

Yes, I agree the framing is real neat and seems to be a great addition to the entire concept. POV is very good.I appears to be a bridge beam... Beemer, how clever you are! Can you enlighten us on where the bridge is and some of the history behind it?!

Thank you all for your "way kind", observant and witty comments! Yes this is a bridge. It is the old Jamestown Bridge in Rhode Island. It was built in 1940 for $3 million to replace the ferry system that ran from the late 17th century. It is 6892 ft. long and 135 ft. above the water. In 1969, the last toll was collected when the bridge was paid for and it has not been used since 1992 when a new bridge was built just to the north.
