Description

Turnhouse hill from Glencourse, just south of Edinburgh. ^^/\^^ The obvious path leads up to the first top on the ridge. On the way up this path earlier in the day, I was practically bent double against the blizzards, (wishing I'd got goggles for Xmas), once up on the ridge it was gales and white out conditions almost all the way along it. Only once I'm down again does the storm pass over leaving clearer air behind it... DOH!

What a lovely pastoral setting. It is neat the way you have snow and green grass so near each other.

I think you just live in the most beautifull country of the world. I wish I could spent my holidays over there every single year. Excellent shot. Makes me wish I was over there again.

Great mix of winter and summer seasons. Glad you didn't get lost in the blizzard. Kinda hard to think blizzard conditions though when you see all the green grass. :) Vote

Ah... back to the hills. Great shot with difficult lighting conditions, bright sky, shadows on the lower slopes. Nice One...
