Description

On the slops of Mauna Loa: Seems like a large wave of Lava is about to consume this beautiful plant. That large mass of jagged lava rocks in the background is called A'A. Step on it and your very first words will be A ' A. The smooth lava rocks next to the plant is called Pahoehoe. Also seen are red and black cinder. Basically, this is what Mauna Loa looks like at the top. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Wow, such beauty from something that can be so destructive. Amazing to see flowers in such a place that looks so tough. Excellent capture and job here.

So I guess it's old cool lava? Awesome! I like the small red lava rocks in the bottom left. And then I like how it is counteracted by the jutting wave at the top right. This is perhaps your best photo (composition-wise) yet! Bravo E!!!!! Howdy

Amazing landscape..... almost appears to be an image with selective coloring, but then I realized it really looks this way. A fascinating pic.

I guess life finds a way....plants always grow in the strangest places, and then when you plant one in your garden, and take good care of it, it dies rolls eyes. Beautiful compo, the lone yellow plant shines in this gloomy world. Excellent capture my friend =)
