Description

This little Rainbow was just a few feet away from Mauna Loa's Observatory. The rainbow was very short in length but very sweet in colors and probably one of the highest rainbows in altitude in Hawaii. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Nice shot. Just wish the telephone poles weren't in the way. Did you find the pot of gold?

Pot of Gold? I don't think so. Those lava rocks are called "A'A". Very Sharp Lava Rocks! LOL. Thanks for asking.

Interesting to note: Most rainbows will be higher and over a power line pole. Not this one.

For a guy who wasn't sure he wanted to get into photograpy you are doing an excellent job. Keep on capturing the islands in your minds eye. Great timing on this image, in between the rain! Happy New year to you and your Ohana!
