BIOMy art is my mouth in the context of this digital era. Naturally art is an expression, however, I want to say something with my art. Through diversity I can make many aspects of my thoughts be one with the art. I try to accompany each image with some text that might be explaining in some way. I try to make sophisticated art.
My art has to evoke thoughts, there has to be intelligence in it. It might not always be apparent at a first glance, but it's always there. I try to provoke people, not to shock, but to let people think. Some of my opinions might seem bold, but they simply represent a certain theme of thinking.
I've attended and finished an art academy and have learned some nice techniques in those 4 years. Also I got some good art education there. However, the disadvantages of those academies is that they want to mold you into a certain product. They want to be able to label you as one of their special projects. There's not really a lot of room for lateral vision which I hold in high regard. It's lateral vision that defies boundaries. It's lateral vision that set the tone for new experiences in art. It's lateral vision that saves the world from aesthetic boredom.

You're damn right. How often do we know something we may desire at any given time (insert X here) is what our inner self truly wants, and not (as is more than likely) something believed to be desired by the conditioned self, the "automaton" running on algorithms slotted into place over time by society? These are subtly complex decisions, the whole mental system so complex as to be difficult to unravel to reach what lies beneath, what we call "being true to ourselves". You're right about individualism, but someone somewhere will have exactly the same colour case and ringtone for their cellphone as someone somewhere else, in the end does it really matter, too often the plethora of in-depth qualities that define each human a true individual can be overlooked. So marketing works, as you know well! In the hallowed words of a Mr John M. Osbourne, "you want to be different to everyone else? Dont get a tattoo"

I find it humorous that the most highly regarded citizens in the U.S. are those with the economic wherewithal of ingesting and excreting humongous cargo loads of goods and services, as if they have no other purpose. Consumers. Quite insane ... and, in the final analysis, quite deadly to the planet. Excellent artwork.

Heh, @ Synapse...that's a good Ozzy quote. Rik, I like how you have included the trepanation image. A symbol of your frustration for the idiocy of the masses. It's kind of ironic that graphics and symbols are used here to express your disdain(?) for our absurd consumerist society when graphics and symbols are what make all of this absurdity possible...actually it isn't ironic, it just is. The word "symbol" consists of symbols (letters) and symbolizes the concept of a symbol in and of itself....damn it, I not going to fall into an infinitely regressive though process...

one of the cleverest and boldest points you've ever made. Accompanied by that awesome wallpaper stylized with 50's happy scenes from cookin book in USA, and a font use that always nails down perfectly the mood. You are a blast.
