A lovely little allegory - very readable, and leaves you wanting more [always a good thing - cough, cough]. I'm sure you are more than capable to fill it out with detail to make a fascinating longer story.

I almost like the mystery of it being a short. Your mind attempts to fill the gaps, and can come out a completely different story when read at a different time.

Excellent imagery through carefully chosen words! You've rendered an entire realm in a short story that definitely leaves the reader wanting more...a prequil rather than a sequel...why the worlds separated in the first place. Perhaps the silver ones were the Tuatha de Danaan.

As always a brilliant read but I have to admit that I agree with NothingNess, I want to read longer the words you write. At the moment they are short and sweet to my mind but I am begging to yearn for a longer work of yours. Your pen doth tickle my taste buds ;0)
