Description
UF3 with sig and sharpening in PSP7.
The title came to mind because of the rather slight but noticeable difference between the left and right side of the main fractal. I did not use any mapping or forced symmetry, and yet at first glance it would appear to be a mirrored image. Of course, Mulder and Scully would have picked that out immediately! ;)
This is another dip into the gnarl and doodad well. Since the resulting shape was somewhat complicated, I spent quite alot of time creating a gradient that would bring out the detail. There is so much to learn in UF... and the more I study, the more amazed I am at the awesome programming that went into its design. Thanks and kudos to Frederik Slijkerman and to all of you fractal addicts for getting me hooked! :) Thank you for stopping in to have a peek at this and for your kind feedback on my previous endeavors! Hugs... Helen :)

Great title, I many times feel that I am falling into that trap, even when I haven't done anything! Lovely work, it does look mirrored at first viewing. I think you really succeeded with the colors, very beautiful and they do bring out the details nicely.

wonderful gradient, and I really like the soft green textured background, it looks like marble. Excellent design and composition.

Your swirling background deserves a V in it's own right ! The rest of the picture is great too !

Cool title, and the asymmetry gives the nice illusion of off-center lighting.

Such beautiful work. When I first look at this I see a paintdrop splashing onto the surface in a burst of colour. The more I look the more intricate details I see. Awesome use of gradient and well worth the time you spent on it. :)

A beauty. Yes, at first glance it does look mirrored. I might not have noticed if you had not commented about it, however. Great color choices.
