Description

The Curious Servant Of The Gods ------------------------------- Created: December 2004 Created with: ------------- * Poser 4.03 * Vue d'Esprit 4.22 (rendered in) * Photoshop (postwork colour alterings) Freebies used: ---------------- * Demonoid character by Fatale -- POSER -- via Renderosity http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=Fatale Other items used: ----------------- * baby from POSER (that ugly lookin' spud!) ;-) * Spheres_Ring--just--01a--xc-welded-b (scaled to loom over the entire scene and help provide interesting reflections.) - (it's a private 3D model I created years ago that I still like to drop into scenes) ;-) ========================================== About: ------ I've had Fatale's Demonoid character for awhile but have only just got around to using it. I just wanted to have a quick playaround with it (her) to see how she would look. - My image "The Curious Servant Of The Gods" is the result. The pose is 99% of one of the supplied poses but as soon as I saw it applied to the character in POSER I began to imagine a scene.... When I was in POSER first playing with the Demonoid I was thinking of creating a very dark, gothic-like image, or perhaps a spooky horror-like one....but as you can see I went in the opposite direction with "The Curious Servant Of The Gods" being very bright and in fact with burnt-out with white light in a few places! :-P I decided to use an old 3D mesh I made years ago and import it into Vue to surround the scene and therein provide a shape for the spheres to display interesting reflections of. - It also helps to alleviate the 'endless plane' universe of the very simple scene. (you might also see this model occasionally appear in other images of mine, ie. "Returning the Technomages' Sceptre" in my gallery here) BTW, just because I created this image in December around Xmas time, it does not mean that it's Xmas orientated despite what you may interpret from the scene. ;-) Z.

Wonderful composition, colors and lighting. I agree that the character is very creepy, even more so because it's eying the baby. Fantastic disturbing image! Excellent! v
