Description
Ever feel like things just arent going your way? Thats exactly what I'm going through right now. My bestfriend died in December of cancer and early this morning my grandpa died. The pic of him is at my dad's wedding. He was always making everyone laugh. (January 8, 2005.)
********************************************
I knew you less than everyone else.
You were in my life
For only a short time.
But I do know
That you cared for others.
You would give anything,
Do anything,
Sacrifice everything,
To make sure your loved ones were safe.
You worked hard,
Loved unconditionally,
And spoiled everyone around you.
Your humor never went unnoticed.
I love you and will always remember
The joy you gave me.
Rest in Peace.

So sad for your loss. I think you and your grandfather's past will always be a major part of you and always will live within you. Excellent written tribute piece.

I am so very sorry for your loss. If it provides any comfort we truly experience freedom on the otherside. Your words paint the picture of a selfless man, take from that the lessons inwhich he left for you and all of us. Thank you for sharing such private emotions. My sympathy to you and your family, and to all the lives your Grandfather touched.

I felt almost the same way when my grandparents died, that I didn't know them well enough. I still regret it.
