Description
Walking around on this top we find some other little trees. The extraordinary thick layers of hoar-frost deposited on these branches tell us the temperatures have been freezing here for a long time. And the direction of the crystals shows us from what direction the wind has blown (these crystals grow in the direction of where the wind blows, the opposite position of a flag fluttering in the wind).
