Description

Inside the tower was a maze of long hallways and stone rooms. Some rooms contained heaps of bodies and bones in various states of decay. Though all were curiously free of insects of any kind. They moved as quickly as they dared following the directions they had memorized. Many of the rooms were lit as if magically with an eerie and unnatural light. It became obvious soon that not all of the bodies were as dead as they appeared. The eyes of the dead watched them as they passed, though only their eyes had moved to this point. They found the dry, cracked fountain that Jaiya said was close to the room they needed to find. When they started down the final hallway they heard movement ahead. They quickly darted out of view of the long hallway into the many passageways that lead away from the hallway on either side. The sound grew closer as if a great weight was being dragged along the ground. They expected to find undead and this was one to be sure, though Neela and Sharra had only imagined encountering them before. Neela have expected them to be moaning, but no sound uttered from the shambling mound of flesh. She found that to be even more disturbing. No sound, no breathing, nothing but the sound of its footfalls as it lumbered forward. Fear gripped each of them as it slowly moved past down the hallway. What purpose did it have? Where was it going? All questions troubled Neelas thoughts as she watched it slide past. She suddenly took notice of the tightness in her chest and the growing pain in her lungs. She was so scared that she even unconsciously dared to breathe. Even now fully aware of it she couldnt bring herself to risk the sound of a gasp for breath. She noticed Sharra gesture that it was all clear and only then did she exhale. It was time to find this necklace and get out of here! **Thanks for viewing **

A very eerie and fearsome image with lots of careful elements. I don't understand the green item, but it's beautiful scene.
