Description

I know this is not the best photograph ever. The reason I added this picture is merely the fact that is contains a strange contrast. African wildebeast are supposed to deal with heath not cold. Nevertheless I took a picture of African wildebeasts in the snow. Before you blame the change of world climate: I took this photograph in a wild life park called Beekse Bergen, nearby the city of Tilburg. Still I am surprised about this scene. Who would have thought African wildebeasts can exist in the snow.

Quite a contrast! I like the fact that it almost is black and white, yet there is a hint of color. Sad what man does for his own amusment to nature, yet they seem to be dealing with it fairly well.

No, it very much looks like a B&W shot but it isn't. At the time I took the picture there was hardly any color visible except white and black.

They are probably wondering the same thing... it doesn't necessarily look like they're out frolicking around in it. Great capture.
