Still trying to get back into it. I like this one much better though. I modeled the castle from primitives in bryce. Figures are done with DAZ Studio.
Please let me know what you think.

Beautiful sky,the horseman really figures as a focal point..great job!

I really like this one. The framing and placement of the figure on horseback takes perfect advantage of the various depths of field: the horseman and his cliff in terrific detail, then the castle in medium distance, to the mountains receding in mist. Really classical organization. Did I mention I like this?

Excellent work. The depth really makes it come alive!!!
MoonGoat
More impressive terrain modelling as usual.

Fantastic scene. The atmosphere gives it great depth. Beautiful work. The only thing keeping me from giving it three thumbs up, is the repetitive textures all over the castle.

This is when you regret you dident build that bridge and hafto take the 9mile way round the cliffs. Fantastic picture, trees, landscape, cliffs, sky fogg... are all right on the spot. Only crit is the castle that dosent fit the sceen really, or more the texture of it dosent fit. None the less a awsome picture.

I like it the way it is. I'm just new to all this so I look and learn. My only comment is that the rocks the horseman is on seem wet. Is this intentional?
