Description


Must be mating season at the local zoo, as the peacocks were out and struting their stuff. I had a hard time catching them in full bloom as they were elusive and out of range most of the time....except for Mr. Hor-nay here...he couldn't give a rip who saw him...He had the peahens scattering...a little aggressive I guess. Oh yeah, I guess he was really all worked up then,lol. Oh wow he's just so pretty,such colors on him. Excellent capture and job here for sure.

Terrific shot. And yes, it is a male. All male birds are more colorful then the female for some reason. . .LOL.
