Hiya. Lets see. My name is Missy (not Betty). I live in Washington State with my hubby of 26 years and 3 children. My hubby is a lawyer and I'm a stay-at-home mom. I've been into graphics since 1995 and discovered 3-D sometime around the late 90's using a program called Simply 3-D (I think). I rendered the most awesome spheres lol! I was hooked. After following many webrings I discovered a Poser webring and then saw some images that for the time were really neat. I talked my hubby into buying me Poser and that was that. I'm now using Poser 8, Bryce 6, and considering buying Cinema 4D when I can afford it. I love making whimsical images. I love to think someone is smiling or laughing when they view my images. I'll throw in a serious one here and there but whimsical ones are my favorite. I recently took a 3 year break from 3-D, and when I came back I realized how much I missed it in my life. I feel fulfilled again. My only advice to anyone is that if you feel the urge to create--don't stop because you think your work isn't fantastic. I compare myself all the time to the fantastic artists around here and I have to tell myself to stop it daily. Just do your own art and if it makes you happy, remember that is ALL that matters. Thanks for viewing my info! Hugs, Missy

Thank you all so much for the kind comments. May God Bless America...My Home Sweet Home. Feel free to right click and set this as your wallpaper or even send it to friends. My prayer is that this image will help people heal or at least get in touch with their feelings. I've received e-mail that it has done just that and for that I am so thankful. Thanks so much guys.

I am still shocked about the tragedy - I will never forget these pictures I have seen on TV - and I cant, neither I want, to forgive of what has happened on 09/11/2001!

as the days go by, and more and more info is given to us about this tragedy, i continue to look at this picture to remind me to concentrate on the pain feeling by those who have lost a loved one, and to divert me from my feelings of having someone answer for this surreal act of terroism. russell

Holy Smokes!!! Sorry about the pun. Watch out N Raider, here comes a new Number One viewed image. This is possibly the best work I've seen posted on Renderosity. A fitting tribute to the thousands who died a senseless death.

having lost members of my family 12 years ago in the Lockerbie bombing, i understand the devastating effect terrorism can have. Don't be driven by hate. hate will lead to more suffering. Sympathy and prayers from Scotland.

This picture is the most moving tribute I have seen since the British played our National Anthem during the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace (both brought tears to my eyes). It sickens me to see what some other people are posting in this gallery - it seems they are turning it into a political forum rather than a memorial. I salute you Ooh Betty on a job well done in the spirit that this gallery was intended. Keep up the great work.

Beautifuly work, extremely powerful image. My sympathy to those who lost members in the terrorist attacks, and also for those Service members and family who have also lost their lives in the following retaliations.

I sit here, six months and twelve days after that day, and read the comments I see above. This page has become more than just the image, it has become a snapshot of a world in shock, in grief, and in some cases in rage. It is a glimpse into the hearts of people around the globe as we tried to deal with what had happened, with the scope of what had been done. Thousands of lives, taken in a single day, at the direction of a madman. But there's one thing about this picture that nobody else seems to have noted, yet. The hope. By lifting the towers and all therein skywards, the Angel is elevating them to a state mortals cannot know. The grief is there, but grief is the blood that flows from the wounds of our soul, which flows freely to clean the wound. We must never let those wounds scar into hate, but heal fresh. We will never be the same, and may wince from situations close to what caused our pain, but we must never, ever, turn away. Thank you, both to Betty for the beautiful image, and to Renderosity, for this glimpse into the hearts of humanity.

Seeing this image brought it all back. Hard to believe this happened almost 7 months ago. It feels like only yesterday. I remember crying all day long, and now I'm in tears again. Thank you for remembering these people who lost their lives for nothing more than someone's sick fantasy. I'm very sorry for those who lost their lives, and those who were touched by this personally through loss of loved ones, but I am also very sorry for those of the Islamic faith who suffer now because so many people have a warped view of their religion, distorted by these sadistic cowards. My heart goes out to all of you.
