Carrara 4 Fuselage fixed! (Thanks Sailor Ed) Now trying out different shaders and working on the macine guns. Also starting to texture the engine.

It has that delightful "bugsmasher" way of flying. Try some sideslips and watch how it troughs out!! Frightening how holes appear in the propellor disk each time the magneto kill is hit to reduce power!! Very tensile with wires. The clouds are tamed!

I have been following your progress on this. It is really coming along nicely. I would recommend adding just a little bit of subtle noise in the shader color channel to give it a little more realism. Really excellent!

WOOOOHOOO!! You get the Blue Max for ww1 aircraft modeling....with oak clusters(or something like that). I know how hard those engines are having completed a p&w 9 cyl. for my P26 model.(in Rhino) Good luck on your project and I hope to see some realistic dogfight renders when you are done.VOTE
