Description

This picture has had no post work done to it! No adjustments to brightness or color were made, the only post work at all was on the frame and text. This picture was taken at 10 p.m. at night during a snowstorm with a Nikon CoolPix 4300 10 sec exposure @ 400 ASA. Suspended Snowflake Reflection Effect or SSRE is caused by the lights from the ground reflecting off of the suspended snowflakes in the atmosphere, which causes of this erie glow. This is the second picture of the series, (see my gallery) "Yes" there is a street light behind the tree. Magnificent composition, amazing effect from long exposure; I assume the image is so warm due to the warmth of the source light (street light). Bravo, most excellent work! VOTE
