Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

ooooh...now this is wonderful!!! a naked tree that bears its soul...and as Tedz says...will bear fruit soon...in another season. I never see a tree as dead. somehow they always feel like they have life eminating from it. maybe because even if it's dead, living beings exist on it. and if it decays, it brings life to the earth. this tree is a beautiful sculpture!!! it's elegant and beautiful...a work of art!!! excellent capture!
sossy

Definately a unique character. I like that you have the visitor center behind the tree, but perhaps for more impact in another photo like this, you could take the tree just against the bright blue sky...much more contrast. Nicely done though!
