Wendel and the Flying Ant ------------------------- Created: November 2003 Created with: - Poser v4.03 - Vue d'Esprit v4.12 (also rendered in) ========================= About: ------ I originally created another scene in May 2003 with this ant character (duplicated to create two ants) and I rendered it in BRYCE 5. - That scene was called "Wendel's Adventure". (it's in my gallery here at Renderosity) I had a few ideas for this image but I was missing a few things that stopped me from going ahead. - One was simply having Wendel sitting there on the rock enjoying flying a kite. - But I looked through my CD archives of free downloaded stuff from the net and discovered I didn't have a kite model. - Another idea I had was of Wendel watching another ant leaping off the rock wearing a cape. - But then I thought that unless he's SuperAnt, then he's just plain suicidal and that isn't the sort of stuff I want to do. - Okay,....let's have Wendel watching the other ant flying somehow.....what about a hang glider? After a search through my CD's I found a rather haphazardly created hang glider mesh that I'd downloaded years ago. So I decided that that would do. - It was after all a cartoon-like world here, not reality. And yes I know, the ant on the hanglider has a slight problem with his chest looking like it'slightly embedded into the hanglider bar. :-P There you have it. Wendel and the Flying Ant. -- Wendel gasped as the ant launched himself into the air but instead of falling to the ground, he sailed across and away like a bird.
